This was one of the first times I ever shared “They Don’t Know” live publicly, and watching it back brought me right back to that feeling me and @jesseboykins3rd had when we finished Songs by PHER. Just excitement. Faith. Gratitude. Hope. Wanting the world to hear what we created. I still feel that excitement now. Thank you to everybody that’s been supporting “They Don’t Know.” Truly. PHER PHAM… Soon as I got in the car last night, I said: “Hey Siri… play They Don’t Know by PHER.” And it just… came on. That feeling? Different. To sing it live was one thing… but to know it’s really out there now— anywhere, anytime, from your own phone… that hit me in a real way. Thank you to everybody who pulled up last night. Both sets. 7 and 9. The love in that room felt like home… with a little piece of New York in the building too. PHER PHAM… I been coaching my daughter Yuni’s 3rd grade team at St. Leo’s with my wife, and this weekend got real. We were short—missing one of our key players, our little Draymond Green. Saturday we pulled it out. Sunday they hit us early, had my girls looking defeated, heads down. I wasn’t having that. So yeah, I got loud. Not mad, just needed them to wake up, feel me, remember who they are. Second half they came alive. Started fighting, talking, believing again. We still took the L, but that wasn’t the point. The point was we didn’t fold. And that hit me on the way home… I can’t be in the gym telling them don’t be scared, keep fighting, push through, and then I’m over here waiting for everything to be perfect with my music. Nah. I’m done waiting. No perfect timing, no perfect rollout, none of that. Just the music. Just the truth. “They Don’t Know” A-side/B-side drops May 1. PHER PHAM… I just wanna say thank you. That last post… I didn’t expect it to land the way it did. But it reminded me that a lot of us are carrying the same weight—fear, doubt, life… all of it. For a minute, I let that silence me. Had me second guessing showing up, posting, even being seen. But not anymore. I make music because it’s my love language. It’s how I process. It’s how I heal. And if it reaches you the way it reaches me… that means everything. Yeah, I’m a father of three now—I want to live off this, comfortably. But I never started this for clout, or to “act” like something I’m not. So I’m choosing to show up as me. Fully. No fronting.
