The sitting room in our Upper West Side townhouse is a masterclass in preservation. The original plaster ceiling, oak paneling, and oak mantle were preserved and restored to near perfection by @ig_improvements . Around them, new flooring, new finishes, and new building systems were installed, making this century old townhouse live and breathe like a modern home. Surround that with beautiful furnishings selected by @studio_friedman and you have a space that bridges modern living and historic charm in the best way possible.
