This was my Ignite Talk almost two years ago during the 2021 Mandela Washington Fellowship at Drake University. As today is World Entrepreneurs Day, the entrepreneur and African in me is burning to share this fire with young Africans. Get to work and let's fix Africa! Young people are the greatest resource Africa has. Let's tap into our creativity and convert our problems into employment opportunities. We can do this with the spirit of Ubuntu - I am because you are. https://youtu.be/by6WEAL74uw

At Don Bosco Fambul we celebrated International Women's Day with an awareness walk and an ispiring meeting with strong women. ✨️ Journalist and actress Phebean Swill @phebeanswill and the Minister Haja Isata Abdulai-Kamara showed how inner determination and openess to cooperating with God can build a better future step by step. We also heard powerful testimonies from former DBF beneficiaries - proof that with support and oportunity, girls can change the course of their lives. The day ended with games for the children and youth from our centre. WHEN A GIRL IS GIVEN A CHANCE, SHE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD 🩷 #iwd2026 #donboscofambul

What would you give so that the next woman doesn't have to suffer in silence? This International Women's Day, we asked 5 women that question. And what they shared carries so much weight because it comes from a place that too many women know but rarely talk about. Millions of women live with uterine conditions like fibroids, endometriosis, and PCOS, often for years, without a diagnosis, without support, and without ever hearing someone say "I went through this too, and you don't have to carry it alone." . These brave women are giving their voices, their expertise, their stories, and their honesty so that the next woman living with a uterine condition feels less alone. At YouTerus Health and @wranigeria , we know that every story a woman shares doesn't just stay a story. It becomes part of something bigger. It helps shape how uterine health care is understood, how it's delivered, and how women experience it. Your voice is not just welcome here, it is actively building the care pathways that women with uterine conditions deserve. This is the first in a series of stories we will be sharing throughout the week, and we don't want it to stop with us. If you have ever felt unseen in your health journey, if you carry an experience that could help another woman feel less alone, we want to hear from you. Share your story, tag @YouTerusHealth and @wranigeria , and use #YourVoiceShapesCare. Because when women speak, care changes. And no woman should ever have to suffer in silence again. Share this with a woman in your life who needs to hear this today. Special thank you to the production team: @icecreativemultimedia and all the women who shared their voice: @ceciliaalicesesay #YourVoiceShapesCare #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2026 #uterineconditions
