The more crazy shit I see in the world the more grateful I am for this. For safe spaces. For wholesome spaces. For sober spaces where families can come and be welcomed into an immersive experience in art, music, movement, and play. I taught preschool for most of my life. 25 years. And I am dedicated to creating space where we can explore our inner child and keep childhood alive for all the small humans who attend these gatherings. Kids have always been my why. At Phases of the Moon (The Unity Gathering) we have family friendly activities available all day from swings to bubbles to art and even a kid tent. How many drum circles? How’s one/day sound? Tony DelPiano is a percussionist with a passion for improvisational collaborative drumming. He likes to initiate high energy rhythms that evoke a euphoric flow state, where the drummers, dancers, and fire unite to create healing frequencies that allow you to lose yourself in the moment. What to expect? A classic improvisational jazzy drum circle. Beats will generally be in 4-4 timing. Tony will lead the rhythms, and instruction will be provided where needed.
