INFORME MENSUAL “RECTA FINAL” / 003 / PHASE.LAB (ES) Algo tarde pero como siempre llegamos. Tenemos un final de mes bien cargadito. Comienza la primavera y se nota en el ambiente! Gran cantidad de eventos en esta parte final de Marzo y releases bien calientes. Programa en el que hablamos sobre la recta final de la temporada, la gran cantidad de Open Decks que tenemos esta semana o el comienzo de la temporada de festis. El lunes salió a la luz “Eo Wild Electronic Species” y te lo teníamos que recordar!! (ES) “Eo Wild Electronic Species” es el nuevo EP que @nivo.yumin y @r010_lucas presentan para el sello Phase Imprint. Los productores Nicolas Quintana y Lucas Rojo, unen fuerzas en Castropol, un pequeño pueblo asturiano a orillas del río Eo y lugar donde cultivaron su amistad desde la adolescencia, para traernos un EP con un sonido nostálgico, luminoso y muy influenciado por el sonido UK y de Bristol. Nivo, originario de Castropol, pertenece al colectivo audiovisual asturiano @yumincollective , en el cual se juntan algunos de los productores de esa zona. En su último release “Polaire” se puede apreciar su sonido identitario que te traslada directamente a la Ria en la que todos ellos se criaron. Este proyecto conjunto nace del interés de ambos por crear un sonido representativo de la Ria del Eo. Por supuesto que este no será el último release de esta colaboración que promete continuidad. (EN) “Eo Wild Electronic Species” is the new EP that @nivo.yumin and @r010_lucas present for Phase Imprint. Producers Nicolas Quintana and Lucas Rojo, join forces in Castropol, a small Asturian village on the banks of the river Eo and place where they cultivated their friendship since adolescence, to bring us an EP with a nostalgic sound, bright and very influenced by the UK and Bristol sound. Nivo, originally from Castropol, belongs to the Asturian audiovisual collective @yumincollective , which brings together some of the producers of that area. In their latest release “Polaire” you can appreciate their identity sound that takes you directly to the Ria where they all grew up. This joint project was born from the interest of both of them to create a representative sound of the Ria del Eo. PHASE INVITES “NO ONE” / 004 / PHASE.LAB (ES) Cuarta entrega de nuestras invitaciones insignia. En este caso damos la bienvenida a @jjuanolas (No One). Artista español afincado desde hace unos años en Copenhagen. Allí ha conseguido afianzarse en la escena local a base de poner musicón. En el mix Juan nos muestra su sonido más identitario. Una selección de techno de calidad con la cual mediante avanza el set crece la energía y el groove. Tracks de antaño fusionados con la “new school” para no dejar de bailar ni un solo segundo! (EN) Fourth set of our flagship invitations. In this case we welcome @jjuanolas (No One). Spanish artist based in Copenhagen since a few years ago. There he has managed to establish himself in the local scene by playing great music. In the mix Juan shows us his most identity sound. ALL PHASES “BLAN.TRRS” / 002 / PHASE.LAB (ES) @blan.trrs es nuestra segunda invitada en All Phases. Dj basada en Valencia y habitual en las cabinas de la ciudad que pivota entre ritmos electrónicos de club como el electro o el minimal y otros estilos como el dub. En este caso Blanca nos regala una selección bien cuidada de dub. De su magnífica colección rescata cortes bien pepinos. Un nexo entre sonidos contemporáneos y de otra época que van derivando a la psicodelia. Un viaje que debes escuchar sí o sí! (EN) @blan.trrs is our second guest in All Phases. Dj based in Valencia and regular in the cabins of the city that pivots between electronic club rhythms such as electro or minimal and other styles such as dub. In this case Blanca gives us a well cared selection of dub. From her magnificent collection, she rescues some very good cuts. CIGARRO CON FLACO “TUBER” / 001 / PHASE.LAB (ES) Cigarro con Flaco es un programa dedicado a la persona detrás del artista, para conocer y acercar la visión más intima de este al público y así hacer más próxima la relación entre pista y cabina. En este primer episodio @flacobengala entrevista a @tuber_____ . (EN) ‘Cigarro con Flaco’ is a program dedicated to the person behind the artist, to know and approach the most intimate vision of the artist to the public and thus make closer the relationship between the cabine and the dancefloor. PHASE INVITES “MARIA CALLAPEZ” / 003 / PHASE.LAB (ES) En el tercer “Phase Invites” recibimos a la portuguesa Maria Callapez. Sea dj set o live, la artista siempre plantea un discurso único a través de distintas estructuras. En este mix Maria nos muestra una selección muy cuidada. El set comienza con melodías ambientales que se desarrollan hacia ritmos hipnóticos y celestiales. Déjate llevar por su sonido y disfruta de este regalo que la artista nos deja por la radio. (EN) In the third “Phase Invites” we welcome the Portuguese Maria Callapez. Whether dj set or live, the artist always poses a unique discourse through different structures. In this mix Maria shows us a very careful selection. The set starts with ambient melodies that develop into hypnotic and heavenly rhythms. “Earth Tools for Trance” OUT NOW (ES) “Earth Tools for Trance” se inspira en el viaje interior que experimentamos cuando nos ponemos a bailar y entramos en trance... “Earth tools for trance” se refiere a cómo instrumentos rudimentarios, como dos palos de madera, cuando se tocan siguiendo un patrón repetidamente, nos llevan a un espacio mental diferente, donde los sonidos cambian nuestra percepción de nosotros mismos y de lo que nos rodea. Los temas del EP se inspiran en la palabra “tool”, en referencia a una pista formada por un bucle que se repite a lo largo de la canción sin variaciones, dando lugar a una “herramienta” que nos ayuda a entrar en trance. Esto da paso a la remezcla de “Lucas” aka R-010 que ha enriquecido enormemente el ep, añadiendo una nueva visión del track “movement” con nuevos matices y texturas que cierran perfectamente el ep. (EN) “Earth Tools for Trance” is inspired by the inner journey we experience when we start dancing and enter a trance... “Earth tools for trance” refers to how rudimentary instruments, such as two wooden sticks when played in a pattern repeatedly, take us to a different mental space, where sounds change our perception of ourselves and what surrounds us. The tracks on the EP are inspired by the word “tool,” referring to a track that is made up of a loop that repeats throughout the song without variations, giving birth to a “tool” that helps us enter a trance. This gives way to the remix of “Lucas” aka R-010 which has greatly enriched the ep, adding a new vision of the track “movement” with new nuances and textures that close the ep perfectly.
