butterfly out nowww ʚଓ ּ ֶָ֢. a very optimistic one from me for a change..usually my music is an outlet for the things i’m feeling & a way of expressing what’s already there but this one felt more like a way of envisioning or materialising a feeling that i wanted to bring in to my life. writing the lyrics felt sort of a like casting a spell to bring in a sense of hope and to let go of my fears. i hope that carries over to whoever listens to it :D recorded, performed, produced, & mixed by me mastered by @davepemberton first 2 photos by @photoconna

no fairytales out now!!!! ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ⊹ ࣪ ˖ this song is an ode to our childhood whimsy. i feel like there was something special about the way we all viewed the world as children before we were told how to feel and what to think; the way that we felt like anything was possible & we could be anyone we wanted. i remember being little & thinking about the way adults view the world in a more sort of practical & pessimistic light and thinking to myself “i hope i never stop seeing the world the way i do now” (obviously paraphrased lol). i still try to embody my younger self in little ways every day but i think we all feel held back in one way or another by the expectations put on us as adults & how our worth is somehow tied to our productivity and ability to produce capital so i think it is important to look back sometimes & ask urself what part of yourself you might be neglecting. maybe a passion you’ve had since you were a kid that you’ve been told is “unrealistic” to peruse, or a way in which you want to express yourself but feel limited by judgement, a curiosity about the world that feels numbed, or a need to explore & go on adventures that you tell urself u don’t have time for. anyways that is the song & some of its meaning & u should go listen to it thank u to @citruslot105 for tying me to a tree & taking this picture :p produced & mixed by me mastered by @davepemberton
