BACH / IDEAL J / CHARLES Extrait de HOW TO BUILD A SANDCASTLE de @phaecora donné à l’Amphithéâtre Olivier Messiaen de l’Opéra Bastille avec les artistes en résidence à l’Académie de l’ @operadeparis en fin de saison dernière. Merci @myriam_mazouzi 🙏🏼❤️ HOW TO BUILD A SANDCASTLE, c’est une réflexion musicale sur notre rapport à l’autre, à sa culture, à sa terre. J’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à faire la dramaturgie de ce projet et notamment à construire le personnage incarné par l’incroyable @simaouahman , cette « narratrice des derniers temps » celle dont le constat poétique et l’existence est déjà une forme de résistance. Un personnage réfléchi et construit avec l’interprète, ses cultures, ses identités plurielles dans le moindre détail de son costume réalisé par @estherhelinbienroth jusqu’à son interprétation. Dernier des 5 textes que j’ai écrit pour ce spectacle « Gute Nacht / le combat continue » est une réécriture de deux titres du groupe de rap Ideal J. L’idée était de porter les interrogations du spectacle au niveau musical, déconstruire, comme DJ Mehdi (compositeur des titres d’Ideal J) l’a fait dans ses productions, la supposée inadéquation esthétique pour trouver dans le frottement des genres une résonance poétique et politique commune. Une grande expérience avec des artistes géniaux, merci à toustes celleux qui ont œuvré pour cette création.
