Meet the cast of “Something’s Afoot,” Port Gamble Theater’s first show of the 2026 season. Directed by Linda Jensen, this zany, entertaining musical takes a satirical poke at Agatha Christie mysteries and musical styles of the English music halls of the 1930s. Ten people are stranded in an isolated English country house during a raging thunderstorm. One by one, they’re picked off by cleverly fiendish devices. As the bodies pile up in the library, the survivors frantically race to uncover the identity and motivation of the cunning culprit. Get your tickets before it’s too late!

Congratulations to our queen of costumes, Beth-Anne Galloway, for her @thesoundonstage award for costuming in a musical (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder). Patrons who saw Gentleman’s Guide will know it is well deserved, with the characters’ outfits being the perfect combination of sumptuous colors and quick-change efficiency. We look forward to her winning many more in the future. Congratulations to all the other award winners from Kitsap theaters.

After two weeks of hard work, cooperation, and perhaps a bit of fun, the students of our debut Rising Stars camp entertained friends and family with a diverse showcase of monologues and songs. It was clear to everyone there that these kids took what they learned and ran with it. We and our patrons should look forward to any future shows these young actors choose to join. Until then, let’s hope next summer’s Rising Stars prove just as exciting, if not more.
