We're celebrating National Bike to Work Day with @bikepgh ! Like public transit, biking cuts down on costs, emissions, and traffic. All of our buses are equipped with a bike rack, so you don't have to choose between one or the other. Don't have a bike? Take a bus to a @pogohbikes bike rental station and explore the city! #BikeToWorkDay

The numbers are in! PRT was your #1 pick for the NFL draft, but just how well did we do? During the 3-day event, we recorded nearly 485,000 rides, with almost 60,000 of those on our four Football Flyer routes. We also brought in more than $1.2 million in new revenue from advertising, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships. These stats underscore the importance of continued investment in public transit, not only to support major events, but to strengthen the region’s economy, expand access to opportunity, and keep Allegheny County moving every day.

UPDATE: The Mon Incline has reopened! — The Monongahela Incline could reopen as early as Wednesday! PRT crews determined moisture in an emergency stop button caused both cars to stop moving Thursday evening. Two passengers, one in each car, needed rescued by first responders. PRT has conducted dozens of successful test trips over the past 12 hours ahead of a scheduled inspection by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry on Wednesday morning. If the incline passes inspection, service could resume later that day.

Yesterday we honored operators who have completed 20+ years of accident-free driving! These operators have a combined 364 years of driving without a reportable incident. The Safe Driver Awards represent the incredible effort that these operators put in every day. They've stayed focused, alert, and kind through all sorts of challenges. We want to thank these employees for their hard work and dedication to keeping the roads safe!
