Asparagus takes beautifully to simplicity. Naturally delicate, fresh and at its best in season, it’s shaved into thin ribbons to keep its texture and bite. Tossed with olive oil, lemon zest, salt and cracked black pepper, then finished with a squeeze of lemon for brightness and lift. Served simply, it brings something fresh and unexpected to the table, perfect alongside soft cheeses or as a crisp, seasonal plate on its own.

Creamy, fresh and made for dipping. Spinach and artichoke dip, blended to a smooth, savoury richness with tender, leafy spinach and the gentle depth of artichoke. Best served chilled, with something crisp for scooping and sharing at the table. Ready for dipping - comment for the full recipe to use for your next gathering!

Five pairings. One thoughtful series. Our ambassador @morgancheeses joined us in the Peter’s Yard kitchen to create a collection of carefully composed combinations each anchored by our crisp sourdough crackers. From the rich, rounded Rollright, to tangy Valençay, earthy Tomme de Savoie, creamy Blacksticks Blue, and aromatic Époisses every pairing tells a story of balance, contrast, and flavour. Simple ingredients, thoughtfully combined, and made to be savoured slowly. Which pairing will you be recreating?

Fresh, savoury and subtly sweet - each layer bringing out the next. A considered pairing for spring gatherings, or a quiet moment during the lighter evenings. Original Botivo topped with soda, paired with soft goat’s cheese, thin pear slices and our Fig & Spelt sourdough crackers for a crisp, botanical bite.

Introducing two new flatbreads to the table, made for dipping, sharing and slow summer grazing.   Sun-Dried Tomato & Chilli brings rich, savoury depth with the sweetness of sun-ripened tomatoes and a gentle warmth that builds as you go. Za’atar is fragrant and earthy, finished with thyme, sesame and sumac for a deeply savoury, moreish crunch.   Baked for crisp texture and made to hold their own alongside dips like whipped feta, hummus or good olive oil, perfect for long lunches and easy gatherings.

Rich, punchy, and a fitting way to round things off. Époisses x Pink Peppercorn Crackers. A pairing for later in the evening - when things slow down and the bolder cheeses come out.

Bringing this series to a close, Époisses x Pink Peppercorn Crackers. Soft, rich, and deeply aromatic, this classic French cheese has a bold, creamy character that melts on the palate. Paired with crisp cornichons and smooth Dijon mustard - sharp and delicately spiced, it highlights every layer of flavour. A great one to end on, thank you to our ambassador @Morgancheeses .

A soft Valençay Goats' Cheese paired with Fig & Spelt Crackers. A pairing for when something a little more distinctive is called for - the ash-covered rind bringing a sense of occasion to the table.

@morgancheeses next pairing in the Peter’s Yard kitchen: Valençay x Fig & Spelt Crackers Creamy, tangy, and lightly crumbly, with its signature truncated pyramid shape, Valençay brings both character and depth. Roasted grapes and a drizzle of olive oil add a gentle sweetness that rounds everything out.

A pairing that suits a slower, more considered moment - when the table’s set, the wine’s poured, and everything’s there to be enjoyed properly. Tomme de Savoie x Rosemary & Sea Salt crackers. Balanced, composed, and confident - one to savour, not rush.
