From Akimos 'Beach to the Bush', a concept first developed with the students of Alkimos Primary School for our Book Week workshop and became the big bright mural in the centre of the school! An amazing school with amazing kids...and I'll miss all their lovely comments and hearing "Peter Ryan" called from all over the school. 😂

Wonderful way to end a painting, meeting the owners in their new AMAZING home, getting a grand tour and helping to hang my painting in the prime spot of the living room. They chose the perfect frame from @applecrossart to suit the art with the home, which looks like it always belonged. Lovely family with a lovely home, which even has its own galley...so watch this space, could be a future venue for exhibitions!
This may look like a throwback to 2018 when I first painted Karijini's 'Handrail Pool'...but this is my latest 2022 version! I couldn't count the hours that went into this painting, but I know it will be at least another 4 years before I attempt another gorge wall with this much detail! 😓 Pretty happy with the result though.☺️
