Way back in 2002 when @jessxrowe was about 18 months old, The Fun Lovin’ Criminals appeared on TFI Friday, Jess with a huge grin on her face, pulled herself up on the coffee table table and bounced along to them, the first music she had shown an interest in that didn’t involve the wheels on public transport or the misadventures of a pair of siblings inadvisedly climbing a hill to find water. A couple of years after this I had the great pleasure of spending the day with Huey Morgan who, to nobody’s surprise was as cool as f@ck . I told him the story of Jess’ dancing and he signed her a copy of the album for her. He later took us all for a mad night out in NY which at one point involved him walking into the street to flag down a car and getting the driver to take us all to another club in a sketchy looking warehouse. When we asked who his friend in the car was he said ”no idea” people just seem to want to do what he asked. I tried to buy a round in one of the clubs and was told “ your with Huey, your money is no good here”
A dude.
