As I did arrive a day before the event, and realized that the hotel I booked is quite literally ā€œjust around the corner ā€œ from @motorworldmetzingen , the venue for the event I decided to pay a visit to see what’s going on…most of us know unloading and offloading day material is gold…this was no exception. I entered the main hall to get immediately hit by the view of Stuttgart’s automotive Legends. The team, as I was expecting really busy, but friendly, allowing me to wonder around while they carried out their tasks for the day… And how was the event itself? Well, stay tuned and you’ll probably find out!

I’ve been following @heizrclub for a while now, needless to say that by doing so I got obsessed with their events, including ā€œIndustriesā€ā€¦so I was really excited when I met the team in Tokyo on Luftgekhült and after a few mail exchanges I got myself a media-pass secured.

This year so far has been amazing, and I’ve been working hard on expanding my cultural awareness/view on car community across the globe by aiming to visit more car-events world-wide… This is how I found myself lurking aroun on the ā€œloading dayā€ of @heizrclub ā€˜s infamous ā€œIndustriesā€ event…

The event had many highlights, as you’d expect but for me it had to be seeing, hearing the BTCC cars swipe across the track and just looking at them in the paddock. I grew up seeing these in the television in real gladiator fights. Thank you @goodwoodrrc for keeping the spirit and being such a good host for us! Speical thanks to @fotoplushu for lending me their RF100-500 to play with and stay close to the action!

The 83rd Members Meeting brought a diverse line up from pre war racing machinery up to -one of my favorite- the 90’s BTCC gladiators. Same was true about drivers, many who we all know would pick a fight just to get ahead of the crowd even in front of the grocery shop’s queue :)

I just love everything that happens around @goodwoodrrc , being it Revival (which I had the pleasure of attending last year), Players Classic (completely different audience) or in this very case the 83rd Members Meeting, which I finally had the honor to get accredited for. Business as usual, I’m starting off with more portraits of the people who I believe are always making such an event special.

Being able to see some of Porsche royalties either working on site, talking to people or even talking to me occasionally was truly the topping on the cake. The diversity of cars exhibited was simply mind-blowing, from patina to outlaws, from RWB to Singer you had it all. Some of my personal favorites of course had to be the 962s, basically all of Kazuki-san’s builds and the super rare 964 RS NGT!

There is something special about the community around #porsche in general…can’t really formulate it, but whoever get’s in touch with these amazing people…somehow get’s addicted I guess. However just like the general car-scene in Japan, Porsche as a brand, a community hit’s different. I keep on saying this and I can’t avoid here either not mentioning: these events besides the rare, unique and exquisite cars are all about the beautiful people making it happen or ā€œjustā€ participating.

As I’m holding issue nr 84 of @speedster.magazine in my hand, looking at a ehopping 7 pages of my pictures accompanied with my words in French I can’t help but think that visiting the @luftgekuhlt event in Tokyo must have one of the most amazing experiences of my life yet. I’m really grateful to the magazine and JosuĆØ for putting this experience in print! #printaintdeadyet

I’m by no means believe I’m a Tokyo-expert after spending a few days there, but one thing I feel Idid right: taking public transport, walking a lot and not being afraid of engaging (politely) with people on the streets. I feel this gave be the most intense and possibly the best dose of Tokyo given the short amount of time I’ve been spending there. Stay tuned, now that Issue 83 of @speedster.magazine is out, soon I’ll be sharing my take on #lufttokyo too!

I have been swamped with targeted reels and posts about places to visit and things to look after, from the moment I purchased my flight tickets (thank you algorithm). Lucky for me my friend Imi @tosuimure and him sharing his experience visiting this amazing city multiple times, made me feel less stressed about how am I going to get along in such a busy city with so many rules (rules some of which I feel should be implemented across our countries too).

Peter pretends to be a street photographer on the streets of Tokyo, part nr. 2. This is a selection of images I took on the day after #lufttokyo . Unfortunately I was not able ro join the tour to the private race club on Sunday but being able to continue discovering Tokyo, and meeting two ā€œglobal friendsā€ (@dmytrowpawel and @william_langford ) made a remarkable experience!
