🎬 Here is the next story in the count down to 50! Only 27days to go!!😳🥰
Throwback to 7 years ago…
Way before stepping into business and property, I found myself on a call with a friend from the music and film industry Leon Mitchell. He asked if I would go to a tiny island in Norway and look after 18 staff and crew during a film shoot 😳and honestly, it was one of the biggest comfort zone pushes I’d ever had!
No script, no plan… just me, two houses, £400–£600 food shops every couple of days, and feeding everyone fresh, proper meals every single day.
I’d never done anything like it.
I was shy, I was anxious, but I said yes because I wanted to take my youngest son abroad, something I couldn’t afford as a single mum.
That job made it possible. And I did it.
I as homesick, and often cried in secret, but I got the job done.
And I took my boy to Greece after. ☀️
Looking back now… the skills I use today, problem-solving, time management, people care, delivering under pressure, they were all there, even then.
You don’t always realise what shapes you until you look back and see it clearly.
And yes… their favourite meal was the 3am full roast dinner I made after a long night on set! 😄
Big love to
@gailwheen @peterdarnes for looking after me during that time. 💜
My favourite moto now is Say yes and work it out later!
