On April 19th my full band and I are bringing Newspaper Mama's Big Night Out to @lovethegov in Adelaide. One really special thing about this gig, is the support act. @bluepwrman is a young Adelaide band that just so happens to feature my grandson Hugo on lead vocals, and my grandson Oli on drums. I’m bringing my Greatest Hits show back to Melbourne on April 11!
Calling all kids, parents who used to be kids, and grandparents who originally bought the albums for the parents who used to be kids! I’m thrilled to be able to celebrate my 43-year career at the beautiful Melbourne Recital Centre with a feel-good inter-generational sing-along for all. Together with my backing singers, the Fabulous Combettes, I’ll be singing all the favourites...Newspaper Mama, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Juicy Juicy Green Grass, Toffee Apple, Chopsticks, Tadpole Blues, Jack & the Beanstalk, Down in the Bathroom, Jellybean Road, Mr Spook and of course, of course, of course...Mr Clicketty Cane (Wash Your Face in Orange Juice,) and many more. All the songs will be brought to life with beautiful projections making the show both a visual and audio feast! I would love to see you there.
