What happens when you go from posting content online⦠to getting millions of views ā and Courtney Love herself is watching?
In this episode, I sit down with Nick Cisnero, whose Courtney Loveāinspired content has exploded across TikTok and Instagram, racking up over 5 million views and catching the attention of the icon herself.
We talk about the creative process behind his videos, what it actually feels like to go viral overnight, and the surreal moment when the person who inspired your work starts engaging with it.
We also get into the pressure, the momentum, and how quickly everything can change when the internet decides youāre the moment.
If youāve ever wondered what viral fame really looks like behind the scenes ā this oneās for you.
āØšø Real Housewives of Area 51 šøāØ
Iāve never posted a video in its entirety on instagram but here we go š
First things first, I wrote this song and did the entire video on my own. Itās very different from my other videos and that was intentional.
I wrote this about a very common spiral I go into ā thinking you were destined for something huge, then figuring out what that means when life looks different. A friend of mine told me I was āprone to conspiracy theoriesā after an argument we had over using AI in art. I had never really wondered why I believe in things like UFOs but Iāve always been a believer. I donāt need proof to know the aliens are here. And even if theyāre not, life is hard and Iām ok with the fact I might be naive or gullible because it feels better to believe. Not that different from spirituality, or religion.
So yah, itās camp but itās rooted in a very visceral feeling for me. Maybe the solutions to all my problems itās getting abducted and being a pop star on another planet šŖ
The tea is I wanted to dive into AI and see what I could do (Iām an AI optimist) but turns out making an entire music video that actually looks good with alien hybrid Peter breeze who breaks into Area 51 with a bunch of real housewives itās a lot harder than just giving ChatGPT a prompt. But because of that, I took an unexpected crash course on finding footage online, editing it and trusting my instincts despite not really knowing what I was doing.
I also worked with @jmckmusic for the first time and he made me feel SO comfortable during production and recording. Weāve got another song ready to go too š
iām really proud of this one. Plz share it if u like it.
beam me up, baby āØ

On Superficial Spirit, weāre breaking down the Tic Tac UFO incident ā when U.S. Navy pilots tracked a smooth, white, tic tacāshaped object with no wings, no heat signature, and movements no human tech can explain. It dropped from 80,000 feet to sea level in seconds⦠then vanished.
Casual.
And if thatās whatās out there⦠just wait for whatās landing this Friday š

šø Iāve always heard UFOs were just conspiracy talk⦠but now the Pentagon is literally confirming things?! š¤Æ
So I had to dig ināhow did we go from Roswell š½ to Navy pilot footage āļø and Congressional hearings šļø?
In this episode, Iām joined by Jess and we break down the real timeline of UFOs (aka UAPs), separating whatās actually been confirmed from whatās still speculation š
From Project Blue Book š to the Tic Tac incident and whistleblower testimony⦠this topic has seriously moved out of the shadows š
Iām not here to convince anyoneājust trying to understand whatās actually happened⦠and why itās getting harder to ignore

What does it actually feel like to watch your friend go from acting school to reality TV⦠to falling in love on screen?
In this episode, I sit down with Kirkland Douglas ā entrepreneur, farmer, and reality TV personality from @farmingforlovectv and @thetraitorscanada ā to talk about the full-circle moment of seeing someone you know step into the spotlight.
We get into how much the entertainment industry has changed (especially for queer and Indigenous representation), what itās really like behind the scenes of reality TV, and why fame isnāt quite what it seems. But more than anything, this is a conversation about identity, growth, and what it means to see someone live out a version of life you once dreamed about together.
Itās honest, a little nostalgic, and a reminder of how far things have come ā both on screen and off.

When we put Blouse out into the world, one of the coolest, most surreal moments was Devours remixing it š«
I remember DMāing him and literally a day or two later it was in my inbox. That kind of generosity + speed from someone whoās released 5 albums, played 500+ shows, toured, gone fully independent, and somehow kept evolving for over a decade? Wild.
āPeter is a queer icon in Vancouver, and it was an honour getting to remix him. Some people are literally born to be stars - Peter is one of them. His latest single Blouse is a smash - I didn't have to do much, it was already oozing personality. Also.... I happen to adore blouses. They're so beautiful and comfortable. I have sensitive skin, plus I'm too short for men's clothing, so satin blouses (and clothing designed for women) have been a crucial win for me in adulthood š½š„² Anyways, listen to the remix!!ā
THATS WHAT HE SAID š
Devours has been reshaping the local scene since 2011 ā morphing projects, signing/leaving labels, even snagging a Polaris Prize nomination along the way. Completely transformative energy. And he still moves fast and makes it feel exciting.
That remix made me feel connected to something cool and relevant again in a way I didnāt know I needed š¤
Also ā his new song Kits is so good. Go listen. Immediately. š
Grateful to exist in the same orbit.
