What happens when you go from posting content online… to getting millions of views — and Courtney Love herself is watching? In this episode, I sit down with Nick Cisnero, whose Courtney Love–inspired content has exploded across TikTok and Instagram, racking up over 5 million views and catching the attention of the icon herself. We talk about the creative process behind his videos, what it actually feels like to go viral overnight, and the surreal moment when the person who inspired your work starts engaging with it. We also get into the pressure, the momentum, and how quickly everything can change when the internet decides you’re the moment. If you’ve ever wondered what viral fame really looks like behind the scenes — this one’s for you.

āœØšŸ›ø Real Housewives of Area 51 šŸ›øāœØ I’ve never posted a video in its entirety on instagram but here we go šŸš€ First things first, I wrote this song and did the entire video on my own. It’s very different from my other videos and that was intentional. I wrote this about a very common spiral I go into — thinking you were destined for something huge, then figuring out what that means when life looks different. A friend of mine told me I was ā€œprone to conspiracy theoriesā€ after an argument we had over using AI in art. I had never really wondered why I believe in things like UFOs but I’ve always been a believer. I don’t need proof to know the aliens are here. And even if they’re not, life is hard and I’m ok with the fact I might be naive or gullible because it feels better to believe. Not that different from spirituality, or religion. So yah, it’s camp but it’s rooted in a very visceral feeling for me. Maybe the solutions to all my problems it’s getting abducted and being a pop star on another planet 🪐 The tea is I wanted to dive into AI and see what I could do (I’m an AI optimist) but turns out making an entire music video that actually looks good with alien hybrid Peter breeze who breaks into Area 51 with a bunch of real housewives it’s a lot harder than just giving ChatGPT a prompt. But because of that, I took an unexpected crash course on finding footage online, editing it and trusting my instincts despite not really knowing what I was doing. I also worked with @jmckmusic for the first time and he made me feel SO comfortable during production and recording. We’ve got another song ready to go too 😈 i’m really proud of this one. Plz share it if u like it. beam me up, baby ✨

Honestly my only note for London was they should put arrows on the ground of the museums like they do at IKEA, also, I found the spice girls šŸ˜

We’re closing out our 3-episode UFO arc on Superficial Spirit šŸ‘½āœØā€”and yes, it was all in celebration of my new single ā€œReal Housewives of Area 51ā€ šŸšØšŸ›ø You can stream the track wherever stream music šŸŽ¶ā€¦ and catch this episode wherever you listen to podcasts šŸŽ§ In this finale, we’re diving into our favorite UFO encounters—and I had to go with the Phoenix Lights 🌌 A massive sighting witnessed by thousands, describing something bigger than a football field silently gliding over the city… slow, surreal, and still unexplained 😳 #ufo #alien #phoenixlights

They said it defied physics… and honestly, they weren’t wrong šŸ›ø On Superficial Spirit, we’re breaking down the Tic Tac UFO incident — when U.S. Navy pilots tracked a smooth, white, tic tac–shaped object with no wings, no heat signature, and movements no human tech can explain. It dropped from 80,000 feet to sea level in seconds… then vanished. Casual. And if that’s what’s out there… just wait for what’s landing this Friday šŸ‘€ Real Housewives of Area 51 šŸ‘½āœØ

šŸ›ø I’ve always heard UFOs were just conspiracy talk… but now the Pentagon is literally confirming things?! 🤯 So I had to dig in—how did we go from Roswell šŸ‘½ to Navy pilot footage āœˆļø and Congressional hearings šŸ›ļø? In this episode, I’m joined by Jess and we break down the real timeline of UFOs (aka UAPs), separating what’s actually been confirmed from what’s still speculation 🌌 From Project Blue Book šŸ“ to the Tic Tac incident and whistleblower testimony… this topic has seriously moved out of the shadows šŸ‘€ I’m not here to convince anyone—just trying to understand what’s actually happened… and why it’s getting harder to ignore šŸŽ§ Check it out and let me know what you think #UFO #UAP #roswell

What does it actually feel like to watch your friend go from acting school to reality TV… to falling in love on screen? In this episode, I sit down with Kirkland Douglas — entrepreneur, farmer, and reality TV personality from @farmingforlovectv and @thetraitorscanada — to talk about the full-circle moment of seeing someone you know step into the spotlight. We get into how much the entertainment industry has changed (especially for queer and Indigenous representation), what it’s really like behind the scenes of reality TV, and why fame isn’t quite what it seems. But more than anything, this is a conversation about identity, growth, and what it means to see someone live out a version of life you once dreamed about together. It’s honest, a little nostalgic, and a reminder of how far things have come — both on screen and off. Check out Kirkland’ business @shoptwochiefs New episode of Superficial Spirit is out now wherever u listen to podcasts 🄰

When we put Blouse out into the world, one of the coolest, most surreal moments was Devours remixing it šŸ’« I remember DM’ing him and literally a day or two later it was in my inbox. That kind of generosity + speed from someone who’s released 5 albums, played 500+ shows, toured, gone fully independent, and somehow kept evolving for over a decade? Wild. ā€œPeter is a queer icon in Vancouver, and it was an honour getting to remix him. Some people are literally born to be stars - Peter is one of them. His latest single Blouse is a smash - I didn't have to do much, it was already oozing personality. Also.... I happen to adore blouses. They're so beautiful and comfortable. I have sensitive skin, plus I'm too short for men's clothing, so satin blouses (and clothing designed for women) have been a crucial win for me in adulthood šŸ‘½šŸ„² Anyways, listen to the remix!!ā€ THATS WHAT HE SAID 😭 Devours has been reshaping the local scene since 2011 — morphing projects, signing/leaving labels, even snagging a Polaris Prize nomination along the way. Completely transformative energy. And he still moves fast and makes it feel exciting. That remix made me feel connected to something cool and relevant again in a way I didn’t know I needed šŸ–¤ Also — his new song Kits is so good. Go listen. Immediately. šŸš€ Grateful to exist in the same orbit.
