I'm coming out of retirement again to play a show in a few weeks! I'll be joining @willowwatersmusic and @publicmaximiano on piano/keyboards. Maximiano is celebrating the release of their new album!

I'm so excited to play two shows again with these beauties! This photo was taken in 2016 (before color photography) when we were recording our album, Long Way Home.
The Minneapolis show is this Friday outside in the Seward Cafe courtyard (weather permitting), doors open at 7pm.
Then we are playing a show on Saturday in Star Prairie, Wisconsin where Kathleen is based these days.

I am so excited to announce that my favorite band I've ever been a part of, The Bolt Weevils, is having two reunion shows!
If you weren't lucky enough to catch us in the 2010s, we are a four-piece folk band known for our four part harmonies, instrument swapping, rad politics, and witty banter. (you can find us on Bandcamp and streaming platforms)
It feels like a miracle to get to play with these three amazing people again after all these years. Ed is even coming all the way from out west just to make this happen ðŸ˜
People who know me well know that drawing has always been a huge struggle for me. One of my modest new year's goals was to learn to draw my hero Shrek this year. I think I'm off to a great start! (Maybe I'll post a magic trick next, which is another goal for me this year)

Getting back in the game this year! I've been doing a lot more playing again, but haven't played a lot of shows. A lot of friends have been curious what I've been up to and here's a chance to find out.

One of the biggest joys of the weekend was getting together with Kathleen Hobert and Willow Waters for a The Bolt Weevils reunion. We hadn't played together in probably six years and finally made it happen! Check out these videos for lots of harmonizing, laughing, forgetting lyrics :)
