Maine travel film.
Only got a handful of shots, wish I took my camera out more
Experimented with some new film emulation techniques. Hope the vibe’s there. Want to shoot the real thing one day tho.
Anyone have experience with the K3 16mm?

Entry for #shotdeckrecreations
Here’s the scoop, Shotdeck is having a contest for ppl to recreate shots from movies found in their database. Found this shot from Better Days (2019); looks colorful and the main talent kinda looks like my brother.
And yall it was sooooo hot that night and having to go back and forth adjusting those little things made me really wish we would’ve shot this in a garage. Did this twice too bc rain cut it short. Lesson learned

Its kinda weird getting into something new. But I gave myself a wet willy, T boned a steak and bought a cinema camera from a dude off craigslist. That was back in June when I was had no inch of confidence and shot some boring vids in my apartment. But I liked doing it, so I kept spending time and money into trying to get better looking footage. I’ve met some cool ppl this year and grew closer to some old ones. Some of em are in this video. Shouts out to @jpatel369 for putting up with me when I wanted to practice lighting. Such a good model, someone pls hire him. An obsession + good friends = slightly better & less boring videos. So this year imma kick another donkey, swing with some dolphins, and get on some film sets. I gotta couple of months til I graduate with a CS degree, but I’m a lor crazy so imma do what I can to become a cinematographer. Worst case, I start an OnlyFans. Experiences over textbooks. Throw a comment down for which was your favorite scene. Thanks yo for a great year, can’t wait for covid to end.
