New single out called Everybody’s Running from Something, was written during the lockdowns and at the time I shared the verse on Facebook and people loved it so I’m happy I finally recorded it. Last weekend @tenmostwantedband and I played for @makeawishvtny and were joined by the legend @oteil_burbridge himself. Really grateful, really cool. Wrote Hey Old Friend I wrote sometime early this year and Where We Belong is a song I wrote at around 18 that I wasn’t ever going to record but decided why not, it’s a good groove, thanks to all my friends involved in making the music @pauliephilippone / @jbassz / @dwayne_keith

Releasing a double single next Saturday (12/13) called Hey Old Friend
I haven’t released music the whole year, that is because I have been struggling badly to stay in love with music and how I plan to live out the rest of my life, have had one foot in and one foot out for years stuck in the paralysis of whether or not I want to “be a musician” or am I at a point at 25 where I need to start figuring out something more realistic for my future. Either way I can find pure joy in writing and performing music, and plan to keep recording songs, frequently or infrequently.
First song “Hey Old Friend” and the second “Where We Belong” they’re written in two different eras of my life but complement each other well and I think you’ll enjoy them. To other songwriters and musicians alike, don’t let your biggest enemy be yourself. Creative paralysis sucks!
Had an awesome session at @ghosthitrecording with @pauliephilippone / @dwayne_keith / @jbassz recording an old idea of mine. I’m using my orange #nickjohnstonstrat through a deco into two amps, my fender twin and the studio’s super. All this to say, there IS new music coming. I know it’s been forever but I’m still here writing and recording.
