‘Australian Waterbirds’
💙🦆
22 new artworks inspired by the birds that dwell on our lakes, wetlands and shores.
I released these last week on my mailing list and they sold out in record time. Legends! Thank you all so much, I’m truly appreciative. A lot of these birds live on Lake Colac (where I live) and have inspired me for a long time.
I personally kept the Great Egret artwork. I rarely keep any of my pieces, but I love this bird. I have the pleasure of watching them every day, and I think they are just magnificent.
Fine art prints of this collection will release in late May. Enjoy, Pete x

‘Great Crested Grebe’
One of the first inspirations for my Australian waterbird collection. I spot these beautiful birds at home, on Lake Colac, and have been excited to create one for a while now.
The collection is almost complete. I stopped midway to work on my new website, but I’m happy to announce I only have a handful left to properly glue down. 🎉❤️
This collection will feature 22 artworks in various sizes. If interested sign up for my mailing list using the form on my homepage. I sell my originals via my mailing list. If you signed up in the last year, please sign up again just in case it wasn’t captured. 💖
Details to come after Easter. 🌼

The sweetest little @erstwilder drop, just in time for Easter.
🐰💜🐔💖🥕
Six beautiful resin brooches featuring bunnies, chickens, a lamb and a bilby - plus enamel pins and earrings.
Thank you @erstwilder for bringing my work to life so magically and to the brooch community for your loving support. Huge love. 🌈💝
Like all releases, this collections is only made once and can sell out rather quickly.
I have limited stock on my website, and they are available on @erstwilder and through all their wonderful stockists.
Enjoy x
‘White-faced Heron’
56cm x 76cm.
My social media account told me I haven’t posted in 45 days, lol. That’s okay, I’ve been busy. I was hoping to have released a new series of original artworks by now, but instead, I have been working on a new website....and wowsers, has that burgled my time. 👨🏻💻🧚🏻♂️
The good news is that I am back on this collection, with no distractions. This White-faced Heron is included. Some live locally to me, and I love seeing annoyed community facebook posts about how they keep stealing fish from people’s ponds. Cracks me up. Herons gonna heron.
The Water & Wetland Bird series will release in a few months.
Thanks for your patience. 💜

💚 Eastern Grass Owl 💚
This artwork is headed to @outregallery for their upcoming LOCALS group show.
The annual Australian invitational exhibition launches February 20th at their Fitzroy gallery.
I enjoyed playing with colours on this one, a fun way to start the year. Really loving colour around me at the moment!

‘Cape Barren Goose’
Beautiful bird. Obsessed! They can drink salty water, which means they can live offshore on little islands. So cool!
This piece, and others, will be part of my Water and Wetland Birds collection releasing in 2026.
Big fan of this bird. 💗

‘Brolga’
56cm x 76cm.
This beautiful bird needed to be made bigger than the usual size I work with. 🙌🏻

Holy moly. Thank you all! 💖
I have sold through a lot of my 2026 Calendars and Family Planners already. A friendly reminder not to wait, as you may miss out. They are moving very quickly. 🐻📆
In other news, I have resumed shipping to the USA. You will be able to see how the tariffs are now sprinkled on your order. Best I could do, hope you understand. 🌟

‘Pacific Black Duck’
Been slowly working away on my Australian Waterbird series. Hoping to release it this year, but since I’ve added more birds to the list, early 2026 will be more realistic. I have been completely enamoured by this theme of birds, just magical. 💖💖💖
I’ll share more pieces like this one as they develop.

A work in progress of this lovely long-legged little bird. Also known as the White-headed Stilt. I am exploring a new collection that will focus on water and wetland birds. My current obsession.
