Hey y’all, Petal here. I’ve never formally asked for bookings before, but I’m realizing more and more that everything I want is within reach if I just ask. So here it is: I’m looking for bookings. In almost three years of performing, I’ve gone from bedroom DJ to playing venues that I used to dream about. I once told myself I’d give it five years, but in such a short time I’ve already accomplished so much. I want to keep growing. I want more challenges, more connections, and more opportunities to share the life force that is music. In my next chapter, I’d love to spin outside NYC and internationally. HAPPY BANDCAMP FRIDAY!!! I’m so excited to share that, RECEIVING MY FLOWERS, my debut album about learning to love myself, is now available on Bandcamp, SoundCloud, and Nina Protocol. I grew up in the real-life version of Snobby Shores (Long Island), and now I’m based in Brooklyn where I produce, DJ, and organize with the hope of lifting up what I call “Little New Jersey.” Since 2023, I’ve been lucky to play at places like The Lot Radio, Le Bain, and Nowadays, and I feel like I’m only at the beginning of my journey. I make music the same way I live my life, by blending things that don’t usually go together. Whenever people ask me how I got started, I always tell them: “Music was my first love, and sharing music was my second love.” RECEIVING MY FLOWERS is the most ambitious project I’ve made so far. It brings together footwork, techno, jungle, and ambient sounds, with little touches of playful vocals throughout. I hope that you enjoy 💖💖💖 🔗 to the whole project in my bio.
