Let’s talk about private estate weddings. Couples often come to us thinking a private estate wedding will “save money,” but in reality, it’s often the opposite. You’re essentially building a venue from the ground up. That means bringing in everything: • Tenting and flooring • Catering kitchens and power • Washrooms and generators • Permits and surveying to locate gas, water, and utility lines • Parking, lighting, waste management, and logistics most people never think about A private estate wedding is not just a venue rental. It’s a full scale production. That said… we absolutely love them. No two private estate weddings are ever the same, and that’s what makes them so special. The level of customization, creativity, and intention behind an estate wedding is unmatched. Every design feels entirely unique to the couple and the property itself. They require thoughtful planning, an experienced vendor team, and a realistic budget. But honestly, it’s kind of what we do best. When executed well, private estate weddings are pure magic. My very first photography workshop is officially wrapped, and I’m still sitting in so much gratitude. R+C’s Okanagan winery wedding at @50thparallelwine was designed to feel in tune with its surroundings. Pulling from the natural tones of the property, a palette in cream, green, and chartreuse created a layered, modern aesthetic that still felt soft and organic.
