Senior portraits + Branding content

Opposites might attract but commonalities are key. She’s on the racetrack and he’s on the dirt jumps but they are both in the fast lane heading towards some pretty major goals. Bryn + Dare were outstanding collaborators and inspiration for this shoot. Both came with a heavy knowledge base in their respective fields to share with me as they do with their own audiences each day. Bryn @horsepowher + fjmillercars made possible a very special cameo by driving out this @koenigsegg Jesko to feature along with a weighty history of the maker, his masterpieces and how this particular car came to be here in the USA. Dare @daredemartile + @betausa came with max effort for all the heavy lifting (literally), running the track over and over again to get the shots as well as taking the time to educate me on the Motocross industry and this newly built two stroke for an nostalgia race he was participating in. Relationship goals, teammates, partnerships… call it what you want. These two love and support each other and clearly navigate life and work so well together. Has a more cheerful person ever existed? Not that I know of. Gracey is a tiny ball of light and sunshine and smiles. We were all laughter and joy during our long golden hour senior photoshoot but beyond all this fun and positivity she is also really strong and self assured. She knows her own mind and where she wants her life will take her. An old soul perhaps. Never let go of that self awareness or your strength. I adore you @graceynordby_ thank you for being the best photoshoot buddy everrr.

It’s coming into earthy senior portrait season. Sr szn is year round for me but coming up will be all my “wild child” earthy shoots when we hike in, frolic about and go adventuring. @violettebell.bozz and I also stuck around for that sherbet sunset sky we were promised and tho we only popped off 3 or 4 shots before the storm rolled in, it was well worth the wait. Plus she is the loveliest girl with the loveliest name and the loveliest heart. Thank you Violette!

Maybe I should do a different themed shoot with each of my weird vintage cameras (big collection) like the Agfa B2 Speedex Junior here in a few shots.I think this thought all the time actually. I could do the things I like best. Put together the outfits just how I like, write an elaborate story arc for the character and shoot the whole thing in odd spots just because I think the light is cool. I have cameras from the turn of the century and some silly ones from the 80s which could be so fun. What if I started this project this summer? Would any of you want to model a certain era with me? 📷 This beautiful creature is my sweet friend and creative buddy @indeelight a total inspiration in so many ways.

Love stories all around. A love story between the town to the @thehillmont a most beloved hangout. A love story between Auburnites and Jordan and Melinda, the people who provide so much community closeness for us all. And most obviously a love story between these two creative entrepreneurs who work, raise, live, love and create together. Thank you J and M for having me in for this lovely photoshoot in your lovely space. Beyond all the love, you had me at cinnamon rolls and brunch to be quite honest.

What started as “yes Dad I’ll help you drive a car to the show this weekend” has turned into a career in the luxury car and tack racing space. She is taking all of us on the ride (pun intended) with her as she learns and grows her own knowledge base and interest in motor sports. As a girl who also grew up watching my dad and brother tinker, build and drive, I am fully invested in @horsepowerher story and creating content for her along the way. Any other girls out there who grew up in the garage with their dads? I’d love to know your story.

Carters Carter Carter…. Where did you come from? I think all photographers secretly hope that one day they get a client who is as weird and creative as they are so you can do unique stuff that most people might not be willing to try. Carter was that person. We had the same ideas and willingness to climb walls to get the shot. I felt like I was with an old friend talking about photography and music the entire time. Dream day. I got my guilty pleasure harsh light shots in and he even directed a few cool shots himself and then we tied a big bow on the night with milkshakes and flash photos at Taylor’s Ice Cream. Don’t change @c4rt3r_h you’re the best.

Most people think photographing jewelry is slow and delicate. It’s not. It’s fast, physical, and intense in the best way. Tray after tray of individual pieces comes out, sometimes for flat lays and sometimes on bodies. We work so fast to ensure we shoot as much of the inventory as possible. Hundreds of pieces pass through my camera in a single day, all shot outdoors, in real conditions, with real light. It absolutely takes longer to style or layout the pieces than it does to actually photograph it. We had the coolest team of @sierramoongoldsmiths ladies to pull these shoots off. We all have our jobs and work so so beautifully together. I’m SO sooo grateful to be a part of this creative team of girls! Our beautiful model @monicamiyagi

A fun, wild, creative soul who’s love of bright bold colors and vintage things felt like a parallel of her own personality. It’s Jenneane who taught, no, SHOWED me that you can absolutely have a sense of humor about yourself and not take business so seriously and still be a complete professional. She is two definitive things… on one side she’s playing gangster rap in the aesthetician room, dancing in the middle of the street, belly laughing with strangers, seeking out authentic taco joints and generally being the life of the party everywhere she goes. On the other, she is a highly educated aesthetician who’s built an air tight business model with two decades of experience and consistently levels up her education to share with us all. She attracts quality because she IS quality which is why her new brow babe business bestie, Goldie Brows has been such a solid fit. They both have sharp style instincts (every day not just for our shoots) and as you can see their energy is quite equal.
