Friends and family,
This is Priscilla/Perk/Grammy’s DIL, Gail. We wanted to give you an update on her status.
Yesterday afternoon, Perk was transported from Torrance Memorial Hospital back to her apartment at Merrill Gardens. We wanted her to be surrounded by her friends, family and the familiar.
Her battle with Acute Leukemia has lasted 10 months, the doctors thought it might only be 3 months. She is a strong person and has been fighting.
We are reading her all your text messages and Facebook posts. She is unable to respond, but we know she is listening and smiling.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
