This transdisciplinary group of anti-caste practitioners, consisting of @srivamsimatta , @percykaki , @thebigfatbao , and @artedkar , explores the intersections of food and oppressed caste identities in South Asia.
@perishablegoodscollective is dedicated to creation, curation, and conservation at the intersection of food and oppressed caste identities. Through their artistic practice, the collective highlights the unique ways in which food and caste interject and intersect within Indian society, asserting the risk, the liberatory potential, and the joy inherent in these culinary traditions.

Perishable Goods Collective is a transdisciplinary collective of anti-caste practitioners working between creation, curation, and conservation at the interface of food and oppressed caste identities in South Asia. The collective consists of Sri Vamsi Matta, Tabitha Percy, Bao, and Rahee Punyashloka, each of whom artistically contend with their Dalit identities and the culinary lifeworlds it activates.
