We had a robot arm moving the camera, but because it wasn’t equipped to output motor signals we programmed the 3x Rigs with AutoPilot. You will see 2x Spin units atop Table Bases with Turntable Platens attached, and a larger 11x plexi disc on top that has been covered with seamless and cut to size. Pour’s Standard Motor is moving the picture frame hero can assembly, which is attached directly to the motor’s shaft. The probe lens provided the perfect perspective to bring it all together.
With only a crew of 2 people we: conceptualized, planned, picked up product and supplies, built the custom art elements, set up the scene, set up lighting, programmed the Rigs & robot, and captured this footage all within a 10 hour window. Without efficient tools this would be impossible!
