Almost one and a half years ago, she collaborated with her husband, Markas Liberman, to create a family. She felt that the constant need for nappies, not only for the baby but for herself post-childbirth, took away from the artistic practice that kept her sane. She decided her salvation was to integrate the nappies and her husband as well, to create a performance for an audience of Nappies.
Teatronas, in collaboration with French partners Circa (Auch), Le Prato (Lille), Le Palc (Châlons-en-Champagne), and Le Plus Petit Cirque du Monde (Bagneux). This project is part of the @saisonlituanie2024 organized by @lithuanian_culture_institute and the French Institute in Paris. The projects of #teatronas are financed by @lietuvoskulturostaryba

And here we go! After performing for so many humans in Tarrega I am extremely excited to perform for non humans again! The Nappies Project was supposed to be for humans and directed by a diaper but during the process director was killed and it became clear that diapers have a right to have a performance made by humans and just for them. So for tomorrow at 19h at #Helium circus festival the audience is BOUGH OUT already. My husband Markas Liberman and I will present work in progress for them. It might be not the most human friendly experience for people that will come… but hey hey… we are also not always very nice to some objects… But maybe try to come and lets have a discussion afterwards? 😉 ❤
