PERFORMING SPACE 2026 SYMPOSIUM
Performing Space is an international platform dedicated to academic or artistic research on the relationship between performance and space. Since 2022, it has brought together participants from more than 20 countries, fostering interdisciplinary exchange across performance studies, architecture, theatre, choreography, urban studies and related fields.
THE 2026 SYMPOSIUM
The symposium introduces a focused intermediate format within the broader development of the project.
It does not replace the Performing Space Conference, which will continue to expand in future editions and is expected to adopt a biennial structure.
Instead, it creates a space for:
in-depth discussion
critical reflection
consolidation of the international network
