October 13–14, Munich — save the date!
Looking back at March edition of PERFORMANCE DAYS, a standout moment was the second edition of the Creative Area, created in collaboration with TheCube Archive and Luca Zanatta.
A curated mix of historical garments, vintage performance wear, and forward-thinking material innovation came together to tell one story: performance has always shaped fashion, and continues to push it forward.
More than just technical specs, this space invited us to experience materials through design, culture, and emotion. Where function becomes aesthetic.
We are looking forward to welcoming you again this fall. Save the date! October, 13-14!
Enzymatic recycling, one of the most exciting innovations we’ve been exploring at PERFORMANCE DAYS.
Our Sustainability Manager Anna Schuster recently had the chance to visit the REO ECO factory and dive deep into their enzymatic recycling technology. Seeing the process live made it tangible: polyester textile waste gets broken down at a molecular level using enzymes and rebuilt into its original building blocks. True textile-to-textile recycling, no quality loss.
It’s exactly the kind of innovation that shows where the industry is heading.
Thank you to Stefan, Ivan and Greta for the warm welcome and the in-depth insights. We’re already looking forward to continuing the conversation at the next PERFORMANCE DAYS in Munich, October 13–14!
More than a trade show, PERFORMANCE DAYS continues to be a working space for the future.
This March edition brought together the people driving change, where dialogue mattered as much as innovation.
Recycling. PFC-free finishes. Odor control. Three topics, one direction: implementation at scale.
The energy was clear. The willingness to change is growing.

October is already in motion. Stay tuned.
The Wool Award goes to @suedwollegroup
A unique blend of wool and seaweed-derived alginate, a raw material that requires no farmland, no fresh water, and no pesticides. The result is a fabric that manages moisture, fights bacteria, resists flames, and prevents static charge.
Natural fibers, high performance.

How do you explain a complex system on a trade fair wall?
For PERFORMANCE DAYS – an international trade fair for functional fabrics and accessories – we developed the visual concept for this year’s Focus Topic: the role of collectors and sorters in the textile recycling process.
Illustration, information design, and motion – one consistent visual language across trade fair walls, animations, and digital formats. Colored lines symbolize different material streams, branching arrows map the recycling pathways: second hand, downcycling, textile-to-textile.
Good design makes complex things simple. ⭐️
Thank you for the great collaboration @performancedays

The Eco Award goes to @reo_eco ECO.
Their textile-to-textile recycling process is based on enzymatic depolymerization, no harmful chemicals, mild conditions, and already scaled for industrial use.
This is what the future of circular fashion looks like.

Textile-to-textile recycling is no longer a concept, it’s reality. Materials are leading the shift, designed for sorting, purity, and true recyclability. From mono-material solutions to traceable constructions, the foundation for scalable circular systems is already taking shape.
At our Expert Talks, industry leaders explored how collectors and sorters are turning waste into valuable resources, unlocking the next step in circularity.
And with the R&D Helium Loop Anorak, @peakperformance Performance proves it: circularity doesn’t start in recycling, it starts in design.

The Performance Award goes to Toray.
A textile-to-textile recycled nylon made from only 15 denier yarn, ultra-fine, super lightweight, soft, breathable, high-density and water repellent, all at once.
Circularity and performance are no longer opposites.

Innovation you can actually touch.
At PERFORMANCE DAYS, we explored how advanced knitting pushes the limits of what fabrics can do.
Our Innovation Award Winner WuLuen Knitting developed a fabric that is made with over 50% natural wool and crafted with a warp-knit construction. It combines wool-like softness, breathable comfort, and natural stretch, ideal for leisurewear, active apparel, and cozy home textiles.
Driven by the rising demand for digital sourcing, PERFORMANCE DAYS selects curated fabrics and in collaboration with Vizoo, these fabrics have been transformed into ready-to-use 3D assets, including U3MA and SBSAR files, compatible with most 3D software. Download and effortlessly integrate them into your digital workflow.
While you wait for the next PERFORMANCE DAYS, work and design with our 3D fabrics. We are already looking forward to welcoming you in Munich in person again.
Serious business, but make it Italian. At the Italian Bar, conversations flowed as easily as the coffee, accompanied by 108kg of Prosciutto and 112kg of Parmigiano. Proof that the best connections are made over simple yet very good things.
