Neglect Doesn’t Stop At the Mouth 🦷🦷 This short film is presented as a distorted (PSA) anti-neglect campaign advert. The film follows a neglectful patient who is pulled into a surreal, game-like journey through their own deteriorating body. The descent begins with decaying teeth, progresses through the neck, and culminates in the spine, where the patient must reconstruct their own spine before it is too late. Drawing from uncanny visual language, clinical environments, and experimental horror aesthetics, the film aims to create an unsettling audience experience that blurs the line between education and horror. Using a variety of practical prosthetics and distorted media, this short- form campaign ad is intended to confront viewers with the physical consequences of neglecting your health. This film was inspired by PlayStation 2 Adverts, Operation, Japanese bone picking ritual, EXistenZ & Videodrome, Liminal spaces, Personal scoliosis Journey, Silent Hill, Yuki-Onna Japanese Folklore, Sony 2000s Aesthetic, Dolce & Gabbana SS 2003 Campaign X Steven Meisel. Final year 3 short film for Hair, Makeup, Prosthetics for Performance at LCF (Longer version will be posted soon, all shot on VHS) Thank you to the fabulous performance technicians and fabulous peers for all your help. @performance_techteam 💌💌💌💌 CAST & CREW Patient- Riko Ko @riko_ko__ at @neomgmt Faceless Doctor- Maisie Campbell @maisiecampbe11 Director/Hair/Makeup/Prosthetics/Styling/Nails/Sound/Set/Editing- Fatou Toure @fa2sfx Lighting & Camera- Maisie Campbell @maisiecampbe11 Videographer- Vixen @viledress Location Assist- Nicole Owen @nicomiaowen Jewellery- Riko Ko @t.a.l.a.n.t.o

BENEATH THE SURFACE • Set within the universe of The Last of Us, this project follows Ish - a sailor whose fate was never confirmed within the game’s story. Years after the outbreak, rising sea levels and coastal flooding have created the perfect environment for a new aquatic strain of infection to emerge. Ish returns to the sea to die in the place he once found peace… but the infection gets to him first. As days pass, Ish realises his consciousness does not fade. Trapped inside a body that was once his, he is forced to watch himself lose control. Beneath The Surface explores the horror of being conscious inside a body you can no longer control, following both Ish’s physical transformation and the internal soul trapped beneath it. • Created & directed by me Makeup & prosthetics by me Voiceover by @zen.samurai76 Created as my final major project for BA (Hons) Hair, Makeup & Prosthetics for Performance @lcf_hmupp @lcflondon_ @unioftheartslondon

To celebrate #WorldTheatreDay, we’re rolling out the metaphorical red carpet and dusting off our most dramatic jazz hands to showcase the scene‑stealing resources at UAL Libraries. And now — in true award ceremony style, complete with drum roll — the nominations for Best Library Performance in a Leading Role are… Subject guide - Theatre and Performance /theatreandperformance Digital Theatre Plus Database /az/databases?a=d Subject guide - Costume /costume Performance Design Archive Online (Alexander Street Press) /az/databases?a=p Bloomsbury Dress and Costume Library /az/databases?a=b Image 1) F0x-Δreamer', Ningxuan Liu, 2025 BA (Hons) Costume for Performance, London College of Fashion, UAL Image 2) Chica da Silva, Queen of Diamonds', Fiona Turuka, 2025 MA Costume, Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL Image 3) Wolf' for the V&A's 'Spectacle of the Surreal' performance, 2025, Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL | Design: Issy Eynon; Performer: Kateryna Lohvynenko Image 4) An Octoroon', 2025 BA (Hons) Acting and Performance, Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL | Photograph: Rah Petherbridge #Theatre #Performance #Costume #Drama #WorldTheatre #LibrariesOfInstagram #UniversityLibrary #UAL #UALLibraries

The library is rocking, the weather is rocking, and our library displays are totally rocking! There's no better place to be inspired by culture, fashion, and music than @lcflondon_ library. One of our latest displays is incredibly curated by library staff. It is a physical and visual document to the battle jacket. This curation contains London College of Fashion Library special collections and a battle jacket kindly lent to us for this display. Come and take a look - the display can be found at the top of the library stairs as you enter the library space on level 2. #BattleJacket #MetalMusic #MetalHead #DenimJacket #Badge #EddieMunson

It's a #ThrowbackThursday and a #WorldBookDay combination. 4 years ago, London College of Fashion library staff dressed up as fashion books and we thought we would share these again. Can you guess who we dressed up as?" Always great to see our students getting out and about in the industry. 3rd year student Nicole Cronin had the fantastic opportunity to work on the Winter Olympics opening ceremony. “I am extremely grateful for this opportunity of working at Milano Cortina 2026, this was something i only put on my goal list the end of last year and to have accomplished this so soon is amazing! It was a great experience of meeting new people, being tested on your ability but most importantly creating memories🤩” @makeupbynicss @lcf_hmupp student #hmupp #lcfhmupp #londoncollegeoffashion #universityofartslondon #ual universityoftheartslondon lcfhmuppstudents hmuppstudents lcfhmuppalumni hmuppalunmi lcfperformance lcflondon ual_alumni

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Valentino Garavani, mononymously known as Valentino. Renowned for his timeless elegance, he blended classic tailoring with modern glamour and became one of fashion’s most influential designers. His creations were worn by iconic figures such as Audrey Hepburn and Princess Diana, and he remained a favourite among Hollywood stars including Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwyneth Paltrow. If you’d like to explore Valentino’s life and work further, you can find resources under shelf number 391.092 VAL or by searching our library catalogue. A link to the catalogue is available on our profile. #Valentino #FashionStyle #Couture #Tailoring #FashionDesigner
