We had an absolute BLAST at @worldofcoffeeusa in San Diego 💥 Between all of the coffees tasted, conversations had, & connections made we came back completely reinvigorated for the year ahead. Huge thanks to @slayerespresso for hosting us at their booth and giving us the opportunity to debut @perdidoroasters 🧭 And shoutout to everyone who swung by to try us out 🫶

PANAMA DIARIES: DAY 2 // p.2 The afternoon held another exhilarating, unexpected turn. We were invited to cup with the legendary @savagecoffees . Our minds were once again utterly blown by the clarity & sheer vibrance of their coffees. The flavor profiles were breathtaking. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to spend quality time with Jamison and Harold, two gentlemen who are as knowledgeable as they are kind and authentic. Between the two phenomenal producers we met with on this day, we were fortunate enough to acquire a small but significant handful of lots -- some truly unique gems. These are not merely good coffees; these are what we unequivocally consider to be INSANE, BONKERS, CRAZY, BEAUTIFUL coffees. Buckle up, y’all.

PANAMA DIARIES: DAY 2 // p.1 This day was a testament to serendipity in the world of specialty coffee. Our morning began with a cupping at the esteemed @longboard_coffee To say this was a privilege would be an understatement; it was an honor. During our visit, we had the distinct pleasure of tasting a selection of 8 extremely small lots. This was a true exploration, as the lineup included several exciting varietals that were entirely new to us. Sending a huge thank you to Noemi and Sophie (& Cooper🐾) for not only sharing these truly special coffees with us, but continuing the work to produce without compromise. 🧡

PANAMA DIARIES: DAY 1 Our recent adventure to Boquete kicked off with a visit to @abucoffeepanama - Abu (short for abuelo) represents the legacy of José Guillermo Luttrell Tedman, the third generation of coffee producers ⛰️ José's vibrant passion for the coffee is undeniable. We had the privilege of touring his farm & learning about the family's journey so far. It was not the BOP notoriety that caught our attention, but the pure care & enthusiasm for the meticulous processing. 🍒 After the tour & a little lunch break we cupped 19 coffees. We're stoked to introduce our picks to y'all very soon (spoiler: geshas on geshas) ⛽️

hello world, we are Perdido Coffee Roasters🧭 "Perdido" is the spanish word for 'lost'. To us it refers to the feeling of not knowing where you're going or what to do next in life. Through our adventures we have found comfort & excitment in that feeling. As we move through those moments of being lost we find moments of pause; where time almost slows & we are engulfed by that moment. Like many of you, coffee has been with us every step of the way. Coffee has led us to amazing places and experiences. Not to mention the people that cross our path. Our hope is to share many moments in your journey through our coffees. Salud, y'all 🫶
