final shirt submission for a2
the brief was to create a micro-collection of 4 commercial avant garde designs based on elements of the classic button up shirt/ blouse.
one of these designs then had to be made into a finished garment, which had to incorporate atleast one sleeve, a collar, and a traditional sleeve placket.
it was made in 2.5 days with very long hours in the studio. thank you @louisbeatty for modelling & the moral support! :D

today in studio we were given the brief to create one functional garment as a pair/ trio out of a maximum of three already existing, second hand garments. in just over 2 hours we created this tiered midi skirt. there are elements of pleating- created by hand, long flounces, ties and ruching. we love the idea of size inclusivity with this piece- as it can be adjusted depending on which button it is fastened to on the waist.
