Someone said that these spaces are shared with fellow “growth-minded” people and that term really landed with me. Though I’m not a producer, and it’s hard to consider myself a musician, I left the retreat with my heart brimming with inspiration and with infinite appreciation for all of the unique soundscapes that I got to savor. This weekend reminded me the power of presence and the privilege of being a witness to what’s unfolding around you - there is nothing more important than what’s happening right now in this moment 🌀

What a nourishing way to celebrate international women’s day 👯♀️
I feel honored for the opportunity to take part in this femme-centered festival as not only a performer, but also as the workshop lead for Flowcraft 101 🌀
In this workshop, we’ll be exploring how Flow Arts - a continuous, progressive practice of movement and object manipulation that promotes self-development through surpassing and enhancing oneself in immersive play - can serve as a tool to support psych3delic integration - the process in which a person revisits and processes the content of their experience through intentional effort and supportive practices to gradually incorporate the emergent lessons and insights into their lives.
Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned flow artist, I’m hoping that this workshop will leave you with some nuggets of wisdom that may inspire new ways of connection with your craft and be supportive to you in your process of meaning-making while instilling change ⚖️
This work is near and dear to my heart ~ soul grateful for flow arts, for psych3delics, for the mind-body connection both have welcomed me into, and for the chance to share this work outside of academic settings💜
