It’s so easy to feel stuck.
To get lost in the daily grind, look up, and suddenly feel like life is slipping past… like you’re not accomplishing enough… you’re still not where you’re “supposed” to be.
Today I forced myself to pause and really look back. And I had to laugh (and almost cry) at how much I’ve downplayed what I’ve actually done.
I’ve built something real in my art business. I’ve created work that didn’t exist before. I’ve connected with people I never would have met. I’ve pushed through fear, doubt, and burnout more times than I can count. If I left this earth tomorrow, I know my name is already etched here in ways I could never have imagined as my younger self.
Progress isn’t always loud or fast. But Consistent progress will carry you to the destination eventually. As long as you’re moving forward, even slowly, the pace doesn’t matter as much as we think.
So here’s to remembering what we’ve already done while we keep going.

I’m all about bold color, maximalism, texture, and layering these days—and I’m loving every second of it.

I’ve been experimenting with the idea of decoupaging my planters (so much potential!), but I haven’t quite found the perfect paper yet. Stay tuned for that adventure.
