Hey there! We’re seeing some new faces around here 👋 I’m Peppermint Jim. And this isn’t just a name… it’s a story rooted in ethics, organics, and over a century of mint-growing tradition. I’m a fourth-generation distiller from Crosby Mint Farms (est. 1912), raised quite literally in the heart of the mint fields. My journey started young, at just nine years old, I was tending the boiler alongside my father, J.E. Crosby, learning patience, respect, and the power of doing things the right way, throwing wood into the boiler fire to get the steam up. By twelve, I was in the fields. By twenty, I was running the distillery myself, with no manuals, no shortcuts, and a whole lot of generational wisdom. What came from that wasn’t just mint oil… it was a lifelong commitment to purity, integrity, and craftsmanship. Today, Peppermint Jim carries that legacy forward through raw, unpasteurized peppermint oil and natural body care products made with intention. Everything we create reflects where we come from: honest farming, ethical practices, and a deep respect for the land. But mint is only part of the story. Giving back, living sustainably, and taking care of people, animals, and the planet has always mattered. From community philanthropy and random acts of kindness to being recognized by the State of Michigan as Recycler of the Year, this brand is built on purpose, not trends.
