Felipe Cuartas

Seasons of Life was the master’s thesis project by @muhammadyasirrr , and I had the opportunity to collaborate as Director of Photography. It was a great experience working primarily with natural light, where observing the sun’s position became essential, especially since most of the film was shot outdoors. We chose the RED Komodo for its portability, which allowed us to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow while still relying on a solid camera capable of handling the summer heat. Additionally, we used Ultra Prime lenses, that helped us keep a compact setup without compromising image quality. Their sharpness brought a clean look, capturing the details of the water with clarity and precision, while also making it possible to shoot at night without the need for large lighting setups.
