🏆 Champion Crowned! 🏆
Congratulations to Steve Sasyniuk, the 2025 Season-Long Singles Match Play Champion! In a storybook finish, Steve claims the Dave Sasyniuk Memorial Trophy — a trophy named in honor of his late father. Fittingly, the match was decided with a birdie on the 16th hole — the very hole that features a memorial bench dedicated to his dad. A meaningful end to a hard-fought season. Congratulations Steve! @steve.sasyniuk

Today is international Thank A Golf Course Superintendent Day! We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to Kyle & his team for delivering excellent playing conditions for us to enjoy all season long! Day in and day out they put in countless hours for us behind the scenes. Their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed however today we’d like to place them in the spotlight for a well deserved ‘thank you’.

If you've ever played PGCC, you've probably seen or talked to Jackson, and he likely met you with a smile and two helping hands. Today, September 2nd, 2025, is Jackson's last shift working for us. Jackson has worked at our course for 13 seasons. From day 1 to now, Jackson has set the bar high for all backshop and range employees, always going above and beyond his standard duties. We are extremely proud and excited for Jackson as he is starting a job next week at an accounting firm in Kelowna, working full-time. Although things will feel different at first without him, all members and staff are thrilled to see him putting his degree to work and entering the "real world." So, thank you, Jackson, for all you've done at Penticton Golf & Country Club. You're always welcome home, JC!

That's a wrap on our 2025 Junior Club Championship 🏆 We had 47 kids come out for our 36-hole Championship, which was so cool to see! Congratulations to Cohen Bitzer and Kaley Duncan on being this year's Junior Club Champions. In our boys division, we had our first playoff in over 16 years. There was north of 75 juniors and family members watching the playoff, so that made for a very memorable night for all involved! We're looking forward to next year's tournament already!

Hole 8 at Penticton Golf & Country Club. 312 Yard Par 4. Ranked the 4th hardest hole on the course due to water left off the tee and having to hit over it on the approach. Played on June 20th, the longest day of the year at 9pm. Gotta love these long summer nights in the Okanagan! #golf #okanagan #summer
