I feel incredibly lucky and will never take for granted being able to experience all the live music that I do. To the people up on stage to all of those that support them especially as young and emerging artists I just want to say thank you for putting yourselves out there, for pushing past the fear, the comparison, the self doubt and still being willing to be vulnerable for a bunch of strangers. Even more so when they are like me and have a camera in your face 📸🙏🏼🫶🏼
Don’t forget to show up to gigs early, support the support acts, go to your local gigs even if you don’t know who the bands are, take your friends, share new music and get up the front and have a dance!

Introducing Emma Yue, an indie folk songstress based in Naarm and self-confessed purveyor of the phrase 'do it for the plot’. Emma Yue's music is for catharsis. Blending unnerving confessional honesty and mid-20s chaos together in folk pop laced with indie-rock, her artistic journey is just beginning, and the momentum is unmistakable.
