Established in 2021, this little slice of heaven in Penge brings independent producers and suppliers together to create one of the best independent grocery stores in London. There, we said it 👏

We love this spot, so if you've had a stroll around Crystal Palace Park, maybe seen a dinosaur or two and want really great coffee, a 2 minute walk will land you here. It's the very best coffee south of the park. If this is already a firm favourite of yours, let us know!

Hello! Just popping on to say that we are super excited to be taking over this beautiful shop in Hastings & joining such an amazing community. We’ve loved our 5 years in Penge & can’t wait to transport everything we’ve learned to the seaside. To get an idea of what’s to come please give @pengegeneralstore a follow.
We won’t be fully open until well into the summer as we are unable to move down until school has finished for the year. BUT you will see us working on the shop very soon & we will look to open for ad hoc pop-up days as & when we can. So keep an eye out for dates. We can’t wait to meet you all!
