I haven’t posted in a while. I guess it’s been on purpose. I’ve gone through a lot of changes in the last few years, and haven’t felt the need to spray my beliefs and thoughts all over the walls of social media. There is a lot of suffering and injustice happening right now, but there is also a lot of hope. I want to share with those of you who tune in to my posts that I feel better than I ever have in my whole life. This is despite the fact that I struggle with absorbing the suffering of others, and I have never seen so much war and chaos in my lifetime as there is right now. I’m pursuing a life of inner peace, self awareness and higher purpose. The driving forces in my life have shifted and I am feeling ready to share from the depth of my being. I have always led with the heart, but fear has kept me from expressing myself. Not anymore. I am excited about new songs, projects and most of all a new me. Love to absolutely all of you.
It’s absolutely wild, that today is our 20th anniversary. On this day in 2004 these 2 kids got married. I don’t know what’s crazier though- that I feel more in love now than I did then, or that it feels like it’s just gone by in a blink. I’m not downplaying the work, or the sacrifice or the tough times. But that’s what makes everything sweeter- and in the end the love is greater. To us, and to many more years together!

Jeremy Friesen. We all just call him Jer. If you know him- you know. So I guess this is for those of you who don’t know him. A truly warm and funny guy- with a heart of gold. A good husband and father. A musical powerhouse that makes literally anything, anything at all he’s working on better. He’s got stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Him and his family need our support right now- they are dealing with a lot.
