Something I’ve been dreaming of for a while: ; expanding into making high-quality art tools 🛠️✨
experimenting with custom painter palette shapes using the laser cutter. these are just the first tests, but I’m excited about where it’s headed. Thinking about different materials, ergonomics, and of course… style #artsupplies #slcartist #artistsupportartists
Each step brings us closer to the full picture.
Lately I’ve been pouring time and energy into transforming the Art House into a space that functions both as a working art studio and a gallery/shop for the resident artists and myself.
This new display wall came together using almost entirely found and upcycled materials—like the produce crates donated by our neighbors at El Potrero Market. I also finally tackled the canvas pile in the back by building a custom shelving unit with rope dividers to keep the large pieces protected.
It’s been challenging but so rewarding.
We’re starting to see more and more walk-ins every day, and the space is really starting to feel alive.
Next up: focusing on the tools and infrastructure we need to host more community events and workshops.
Thinking of planning a fundraiser soon—stay tuned!

Our first window painting collab is up at Elevated Grounds Coffee & Espresso! Telli and I had a blast bringing these whimsical shrooms and a meditating bean to life. It definitely had a learning curve, but was such a fun new adventure. Would love to do more window painting! Stop by for good vibes, cute art, and a cozy cup!

From Forgotten Wood to Functional Art
Years ago, a branch from a cherry tree was trimmed and left to rest in a shed. It sat untouched, aging gracefully, until I finally gave it new life. Using only hand tools—chisels, saws, hand planes, and a brace drill & natural oils & waxes I shaped it with nothing but my own energy and creativity, no electricity involved.
The result? A handcrafted mallet and a set of unique stationary organizers, each piece showcasing the beautiful natural grain of the cherry wood.
Sustainable. Functional. Made with patience and purpose.

✨ Pay What Ya Can Box ✨
We hear it all the time—
“I’ll come to the Art House when I can afford to buy some art.”
But here’s the thing—
You don’t have to spend money to be welcome here! The Art House is for everyone, whether you’re here to browse, get inspired, or just hang out in a creative space.
That said, we also believe art should be accessible to everyone, so we put together this Pay What Ya Can Box. Everything inside is available for whatever amount you can pay—even if that’s zero dollars.
So now there’s no excuse not to come in. Swing by, check out some art, and say hi!
