You may have spotted some new merch up at @gorse_cornwall !! This was such a fun series to work on, go grab yourself a tee or a hoodie up at the bakery alongside the most delicious baked treats!
Journeying home after a dreamy 10 days in Chile to finish our trip. Hereâs a wee collection of time spent watching humongous waves, surfing the smoller ones, painting, van scran & pastelerĂas in between <3 đŚ
My first Mokuhanga woodblock print from my residency at @taller.radal đ itâs such a sensitive and subtle printing process and wowee there is so much to learn!
I loved working with Lenga wood for this print (a native Argentinian hard wood) carving the design in response to the grain and working with different ratios of gouache, nori and water for different transparencies.
This print is inspired by walking over Paso Del Viento (windy passage) and our first views of the southern Patagonian ice fields, which was just the most breathtaking hike ever!!
A drawing from our hike up to Refugio Frey at the weekend. A very beautiful chilly morning drinking coffee & painting in the mountains, sketchbook is filling up!
Reflecting on a very inspiring first week of our residency at @taller.radal learning about the Mokuhanga woodblock printing process, practising carving and printing, and beginning work on our personal projects.
It has been so nice to land at Taller Radal and find new routines with our creative practise, combined with beautiful walks from the door, lake swims and lots of reading.
On the weekend we hiked to a mountain refugio (with the best best company 𪺠!!) through the beautiful red Lenga trees, the wood of which we are carving for our prints đđ
The most magic month of hiking the most breathtaking trails, the chilliest nights, best sunrises, cosy refugios, sore stinky feet and heart so full up!!! â¤ď¸
Saying goodbye to our studio for March & April as we set off for walking and print making in Argentina! Thereâs still a desk space going for those two months if youâre after a studio space in Penryn, send us a message! Please share đ

One of my âWomen Walkingâ silkscreen printed banners is off to its new home in Scotland today!! Inspired by a day walking, picnicking, reading and bird watching in the mountains. Itâs been so lovely creating this piece at the same time as reading In Her Nature by Rachel Hewitt, and just feeling very inspired to get outside on foot. This print is also appreciating the wonderful and adventurous women in my life! â¤ď¸
Thereâs a couple more up for grabs, please send me a message if you would like one for your home.
