wrote this on new years going into 2025. song still stands true. we’re falling victim to the systems plan. divide and conquer. tale as old as time. the ones who make the dominoes fall are the ones benefitting from the chaos and turmoil. trying to not let my phone make me hate other people. trying to not let what i see divide us from each other. it’s all a game. a dangerous one. but if we don’t play by the rules, if we choose to love our enemies, despite our differences, we have a chance of winning.
i’m making an album. will be ready this winter. the flock is crying for a revolution.

there’s a demon in my hand!
concrete feet has been in the world for a week or so now.
it’s a lil bit abstract but it’s generally about existentialism, asking yourself questions, reflecting on your purpose and why you do what you do. sometimes our feet feel heavy, we can’t move in the direction we feel called to cause we have something holding us back or tying us down. anyone know that feeling?

writing this song w abi was fun, we had the structure of the instrumental from a demo i had produced but we pretty rewrote the whole song lyrically together(besides our respective verses)

Ceramic has been a part of my time and space for almost a decade now, following us from MA to Costa Rica and back and it has facilitated so much great collaboration. The kind of music we make is so influenced by how it is made. The key to deciphering how substance is affected by form is difficult to articulate and even harder to discover. But our process, and the people involved in it clearly shape what we make. This is a huge part of what I love about it and keeps it fresh and adventuresome.ďż˝
Collaborating with family is a new one. Hanging out with Peirce & co between coming and going from the Flynn musical homestead was great and his process and that form is all over these tracks.

Music enjoyers everywhere are looking for alternatives to the big streaming platforms that not only pay in such a way as to encourage creation instead of consumption, but might even embody practices in line with what artists believe.
Living in line with our convictions in this world and time is a leviathan, so much so that doing so to any small extent is a revolutionary act.
