The last 2 days, I just thought Autumn has ended when it just started couple days back. Caught massive cold and headache, fought my sleepless nights to breastfeed my unwell baby and looking after my oldest son who has been coughing ( till vomited). I remember I stayed awake the whole night crying silently hoping to get some sleep.
Today, weather and the sun called me. I refused. I have no desire to dance any longer. For the past 2.5 years, I lost my inspiration, motivation and love for dance. My hormone changes when I got pregnant with the second baby. I told myself, I’m not gonna dance for now. When I’m ready, I will.
Again, I hear the Sun called me. “Come Out! This time is not only Me, the Breeze is here too!”.
I said ok. Move me.

An event for artists ( mother with kiddos) to perform.
Thank you for this opportunity, call-up. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I should do it, putting my mother-figure-body up on stage. Body, physically and mentally, I’m so rusty. Nevertheless, with boldness, I took the challenge to go for it. This time, to just embrace my new body. And what motivates me is having my 2 beautiful sons as my audience. Small one cried throughout my performance (giving me the OHM boost), the bigger one, I decided to just grab him with me towards the end of my 20minutes performance. I know he loves dancing and he loves stage. He deserves it. #mother #dance #son

Yesterday’s collaborative work with multiple disciplinary performing at the very work of @inmabarrero.studio together with other individual artists as well as dancers from @antibodiescollective . Despite the anxiety of ( dancing under the rainy weather and on the broken ceramics) , is actually an amazing overcoming feelings ( YES I DID IT)! To where it all begins in 2017, before we started Kongsi Petak. Our founder, @lokesohkim visited the warehouse-now-turned-artspace, @kongsikl and was very inspired to direct a new dance film, 'Dances in Ruins'.
"Keep all the dusts there, don't clean it, let me make the film first!", she recalled.
The dancers' bodies were in dialogue with nook and cranny of the space. As they move about, they interact with memories left behind by the previous tenant...
