Out today!!!
A May Day treat from MMM, that is me, Nick Jonah Davis and Elizabeth Still. Recorded at the major lunar standstill on the Isle of Lewis, inspired by the Callanish stones.
What a marvel it is to be involved in this!
happy release day: 'Unfurling' by Pefkin is out now. really happy to share this one with you - it's the fourth time we're putting out a full length lp of hers (not counting the split lp with roxane métayer), and it's safe to say: she's one of the rare artists that gets better with every single release.
hear it via /pefkin-unfurling.html , or links in bio/stories etc.
The familiar Pefkin elements are present: melodies that unfold patiently and graciously, with textures so vivid they feel almost tangible. Across six tracks, around forty minutes in total, the album is more focused than ever, with instruments and sounds flowing seamlessly into one another, leaving ample space for each melody to breathe. Pefkin creates her own microclimate, an environment both intimate and expansive.
the lp comes in a screenprinted sleeve, with insert and download code, and is yours for 20 euro + shipping. and yes, this album is also part of the ongoing '3 for 50 euro' deal. a selection of great distro's will have this one in stock as well (list in comments). of course, this one is up on bandcamp too, but we can get the shipping done a couple of euro's cheaper if you order directly via us. but in any case: enjoy the album, it's great!
thanks again,

Set betwixt Glossop and Holmfirth, in the remote valley of Longdendale, Peak District, we host our first Warp + Weft event at St James Church in Crowden on 9th May!
Close to the source of the River Mersey, the listed building of St James Church is on the site of unmarked graves of navvies who built the nearby derelict railway tunnels. It is also a UFO hot-spot, an atmospheric location for hosting a genre bending and cohesive evening of Folk, Drone, Ambient, Electronica.
Our focus on this is 100% connection and community.
With tickets for a communal meal of vegan stew with foraged ingredients followed by vegan bog and moss cake (5 tickets remain) followed by an evening gig with @johnny_campbell_music@pefkin@bleepier (Haus Flute) (solo gig tickets 10 remain) we expect a sell out show in this unique location.
