I am very saddened to hear about the passing of @viviennewestwood . After scrolling through so many pictures of her and my experiences of working there, these particular photos provided me with such a sweet happy memory of Vivienne.
These pictures and video are of her son @benwestwoodofficial holding her grandson Bamboo who is trying to enjoy the Japanese birthday tradition of Isshou Mochi no Oiwai.
Vivienne wanted us all to be included so we huddled around as she put the baby in traditional sandals and tried to make him stamp on a pile of rice dough placed in front of him. He screamed all the way through it and wasn’t having any of it despite Vivienne’s efforts of dancing and clapping in-front of him like all good Grandmothers should. It was a really sweet and random occurrence that happened so often when working for Vivienne Westwood. She was so great, I will miss her.
My thoughts go out to @benwestwoodofficial and Bamboo. As well as @ndreaskronthaler Joe and @coracorre - lots and lots of love and this time.
