From new drainage networks and outfalls to roundabout construction and quayside services, this essential investment is creating the foundations for future development, improved connectivity and long‑term regeneration along the waterfront. We’re so excited to share that our sculpture GO Wildlife GO has arrived at Princes Dock, Liverpool Waters, UK, where it will be on view from April 2026 to April 2027. For us, this piece is about bringing wildlife into the heart of the city — making them feel close, real, and impossible to ignore. We wanted to create a moment where you can step into their world, hop on the scooter, and ride alongside a hippo, giraffe, elephant, lion and their friends… something joyful and playful on the surface, but with a deeper reminder of how much these animals need us. Set against Liverpool’s incredible waterfront, this sculpture is made to be touched, experienced, and shared. You’ll find it between the Malmaison and Crowne Plaza — climb on, take a photo, and become part of the journey. WORK BEGINS at Liverpool Waters to create Liverpool’s most inclusive wellness space 🏗️ @wyldsauna has started work on a major expansion at @liverpoolwaters , as the UK’s first floating sauna continues to grow its commitment to community, accessibility and connection. To support the next stage of development, Wyld Sauna continues to work closely with @peelwaters , the regeneration specialists behind Liverpool Waters. At the heart of the expansion is a second, custom-designed floating sauna, created in response to rising demand and offering greater flexibility for private hire. Accessibility is a key focus of the redevelopment, with Wyld set to become one of the UK’s first fully wheelchair-accessible saunas, including a lift to dock level and carefully considered internal design to support guests with limited mobility. As part of the works, the original floating sauna – now a signature part of Liverpool’s waterfront – will also be refurbished and upgraded, alongside new cold plunges and enhanced facilities. The expansion will enable Wyld to deliver an even broader programme of community-led sessions, including dedicated women-only and silent sessions, LGBTQ+ safe spaces, and sessions supporting over‑60s to help tackle loneliness. Every element has been shaped by listening to the people who use the space, ensuring Wyld remains welcoming, inclusive and genuinely connected to the city it sits within. To complete the experience, Wyld will also be introducing a considered food and drink offer - from fresh pastries and quality coffee in the morning, through to authentic Neapolitan pizzas and natural wines later in the day The existing sauna remains open throughout works, with completion expected in early summer. CENTRAL DOCKS DRONE UPDATE: Take a first look at the latest drone footage and images from Central Docks @liverpoolwaters showcasing the major infrastructure works that are now well underway 🏗️ The Central Docks neighbourhood is entering an exciting new phase, supported by the £81.1m infrastructure funding agreement between @peelwaters and Homes England. The infrastructure works are laying the foundations for an entirely new mixed‑use neighbourhood, including 2,350 new homes, a 5-acre central park commercial spaces, community facilities, and high‑quality public realm - while driving major regeneration across Liverpool’s northern docklands. Liverpool Waters named a priority in the next phase of Mayoral Development Corporation plans 🏗️ @lpoolcityregion has announced that a full business case is now being developed for a new Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC) with @liverpoolwaters identified as a key priority. Building on the momentum of Everton Football Club’s new @evertonstadium , the MDC aims to unlock 174 hectares of brownfield land, creating a major extension of Liverpool city centre with up to 17,700 new homes
and 5m sq ft of commercial space Subject to approval, the MDC would bring together partners including the Combined Authority, Liverpool City Council, Homes England and the private sector including @peelwaters to help accelerate regeneration at scale. Construction is officially complete at Embassy Village Manchester - the UK’s first‑of‑its‑kind community supporting people out of homelessness. What began as a bold idea has become a transformational new neighbourhood beneath 22 reimagined railway arches in Castlefield, Manchester. Built on land provided by @peelwaters and delivered through an extraordinary pro‑bono collaboration of 130+ businesses, @embassyvillagemcr now offers: 🏠 40 fully furnished homes ⚽️ A village hall, multi‑use sports area + allotments 🌱 Over 1,800 newly planted shrubs and flowers 🤝 Dedicated wrap‑around support to help residents rebuild their lives This week, more than 200 guests joined us for the official opening - a celebration of the partners, volunteers and supporters who made this vision possible. From a locally commissioned graffiti wall honouring all 130+ contributors, live music, speeches, incredible locally sourced food provided by @thermegroup to guests, it was a truly special day for the whole city. Residents will begin moving in from mid‑March, marking the start of brighter chapters ahead. While construction is complete, the journey doesn’t end here. The first residents are set to move in mid-March and so Embassy is actively fundraising to support ongoing staffing, training and life‑changing services - the essential wrap‑around care that empowers residents to thrive long‑term.
