@preferencerecords de la réédition de cet album. Ayant passé les 8 premières de ma vie au Cameroun, j’ai via des chaînes comme MCM, été exposé au hip-hop aussi via le rap africain. J’avais vu des clips de Positive Black Soul et Daraa J mais mon knowledge du rap galsen s’arrêtait à peu près là.
Sam m’a donc à la fois replongé dans des souvenirs d’enfance et m’a ouvert une nouvelle fenêtre sur l’exploration des musiques noires.

@preferencerecords of the reissue of this album. Having spent the first 8 years of my life in Cameroon, I have been exposed to hip-hop thanks to TV channels like MCM, also through African rap. I had seen clips of Positive Black Soul and Daraa J but my knowledge of galsen rap stopped pretty much there.
Sam therefore both plunged me back into childhood memories and opened a new window on the exploration of black music. My favorite subject.
