=== "One 4he Road" 🌲🌲🚗🚗🏊‍♂️ "One 4the Road" is a fast-paced, 60-second film inspired by a stills campaign I created a few years ago. It unfolds on one of those rare, golden days along the PNW, following a final road trip shared between friends before summer is over. When I wrote this film I intended it to be about living unapologetically, soaking in the wild beauty of movement, and creating memories that hopefully will linger long after the ride is over literally and metaphorically. At the center of it all is--it's advertising, people. Get over it--the zippy and fun Honda Prologue, a silent powerhouse that moves through this landscape, carrying stories, freedom, and the spirit of discovery wherever it goes. === Special thank you to my brothers Dan, Justin, and Clay. The amazing Jack Flitter, and the fantastic cast and crew who have embraced this project as their own! Love you guys! 🥰 === Cast: Sam Bangs Smack Louis Christian Walker Luke Stewart Alissa Galeano Adkins Production companies: Pedro O. | Via Films | After95 | Jones Media. Four years ago, I decided that I needed a new challenge in my career. Though still photography will always be my first love, I chose to pivot most of my creative energy and career toward directing commercial films. The biggest challenge was: Filming costs money, a lot of it. And filming requires skilled people, a lot of them. I remember talking to Joe about this years ago, afraid to take the leap. His words were always, “you’ll find your people.” I miss his wisdom so much. Once I conquered my fear, I went to work and put my money where my mouth was-- ALL OF IT, retirement funds and all. I’m happy to report that I am a happy broke man who's chasing a dream. And the “lots of skilled people,” you might ask? That’s when I get emotional. Just as Joe had predicted, I found my people, many of whom have become friends for life. People who believed not only in my scripts, but in my ability and my vision to pull off some truly megalomaniac ideas. Some helped with their time, others with mentorship and real emotional support. I can see every single face, every single “dude, that’s crazy ambitious...let’s roll.” You are too many to list. I told you it takes lots of people. And at the risk of leaving someone out, for which I apologize in advance, I have to mention a few people without whom I could never have put this reel together. The first ones who believed in me: my late Joe, Justin Jones, Lee Puentes, Dan Hurst and his elite squad at Via Films, Chad Windham and his super soldiers at PPB, my "roommates" Shezad & Diego from DhD films, my brother Emerson and Dan Vieira, Julinho, Karol, and the whole Amary Films team who went out of their way to produce this last one, and finally, my brothers and mentors, Matthew Understood and Stephen Snavely. I am forever grateful to everyone named here, to all the amazing production teams, crews, casts, and to anyone who has ever grabbed a C-stand on my sets. You are the “World” in PedrontheWorld. Brigadu and cut!!! ❤️🎬

"Vai que Cola." ⚽️❤️🥤🧊 === A few years ago, when I wrote “Vai que Cola,” the director’s pitch ethos read: “Vai que Cola” is the Brazilian way of saying, “Go for it. The worst they can do is say no.” It’s the yellow and green stubbornness to look at the odds, laugh in their face, and fight for what you believe in. What I never expected was that making this commercial would become a personification of that very idea. “Vai que Cola” is a narrative of hope inspired by “Pedrinho,” my 8-year-old self. A kid in the deep countryside of Brazil with the purity and naivety to unknowingly challenge the odds of growing up poor in a broken household. An idea that started, like many others, at my kitchen counter, grew into a production involving over 80 people from several countries, all united by a love for storytelling and the beautiful game, football. There are too many names to thank, but this project wouldn’t have seen the light of day without these people: My brothers from another mother, DhD Films executive creative director Shezad Manjee and Amary Films executive producer Emerson Alves, who were the first to say, “Shooting in a Brazilian favela while directing two teams that don’t speak the same language? Yep. LFG.” Jaye Jacobsen, whom I can’t stand 🙄😅, but who became the lifeline to this project, backing my good ideas and calling out the terrible ones. Ask him about the dinosaur story. Apologies for the many heart attacks. Mah broh Diego, with the heart and passion of a child and the DP skills of an old man. A football fanatic and son of a pro player, his excitement was contagious and kept this machine moving. I’m grateful we shared this set. Dan Viana &Julinho Finizola...VOCES SAO FODA!!! Emi, Natty, Karol, Kevyn, Jonathas, the two Vitors, Aleksa, Yas, Garcia, and Renan-- such formidable humans who made this idea their own. MC DZ, the musical soul of the spot, a 17-year-old composer I met by pure serendipity. Hire this kid for your next soundtrack. HUGE THANK YOU to Raimundão and Dna Fátima for opening their home and community. Tavares é lindo demais. Kadu, love you, kiddo ❤️ Please give some love to the cast and crew in the comments.

🎂 🎈 PEDRO IS 37!!!🎈🎂 ==== It's past midnight in São Paulo, Brazil. Pedro is officially 37, and with that, officially a middle-aged man--by golly, the inflation has risen on time too, hasn't it? The devil comes for you in your highest highs, they say. 36 was undoubtedly one of the best years of my existence, until 15 days ago. This has been the most anxiety-filled, depressing, and traumatic birthday of my life. Yet, it has also been the one that I have felt and am continuously feeling loved the most by so many! You make my life better and I'm so grateful for the love. ❤️ Love you guys! --P.

We spent the week in Brazil shooting “Vai Que Cola”, a powerful story created ahead of the FIFA 2026 World Cup, filmed in one of the most iconic street-soccer locations in the world: Tavares Bastos Favela. 60+ cast and crew members. 3 days. Pure synergy. And our actors weren’t actors at all. They were real kids from the favela who live and breathe the game. I’m grateful for Pedro and the entire team for trusting me with this project. And deeply grateful to the people of Brazil for welcoming us like family. 🇧🇷 #sonyvenice #worldcup2026 #tavaresbastos #commercialfilm #arritrinity
