To commemorate Ty’s 1,000th day of guitar playing, we gifted him with a new, pro-grade Pedaltrain board paired with an incredible power supply by Voodoo Labs, which delivers clean, audiophile-quality, zero-noise performance with 12 isolated 500mA DC outputs.
Over the past couple of years, Ty’s been steadily refining his sound and recently retired a few of his older pedals. With the extra space now open, I surprised him with four boutique pedals he’d had his eye on.
That said, one very cool detail is actually what lies underneath the board.
I went down the rabbit hole and taught myself all I could about cable management and power supplies. I wanted the underside to look as clean and professional as the rigs you see touring musicians use — tight routing, everything secured, and power perfectly distributed.
It took me the better part of three days, a lot of mapping, trial and error, and more fasteners and zip ties than I care to admit… but I think it came out pretty killer.

Our friends @radialeng developed the TrainTrack to integrate their awesome products with our awesome products. We just got ours and they are perfect!
Their JDI Passive Direct Box is currently mounted on an XD24 using the TrainTrack Plus; but it will fit all of our elevated models as well. Way to go Radial!
